Finally making its way through Early Access, a name change and several updates. Shadowrun Chronicles is now complete and handing out the nuyen and contracts like a mad Johnson. I am happy to say that the developers have finally brought this game to state that I can enjoy. Delivering a full game experience. With the ability to create a unique runner, skill sets, and up to 4 player co-op. Now while there is plenty of that has been improved and even fixed. There is still some areas that need a bit of shining. However that doesn't stop this from being a very enjoyable title. Using your crafted runner you will bring something unique to the mission. Rather that be guns, hacking, or maybe a little magic. The story of SRC is not as in-depth as its compatriots. Being mostly linear and devoid of RPG elements. The graphics are good enough, as is the aesthetic of cyberpunk. Although the zoom features lets you see the block like shapes of the characters. In all SRC is a game that Shadowrun fans can enjoy and includes a pivotal element that other Shadowrun games missed. Multiplayer. For this reason and more.
