On this Indie Game of the Week we get a nice helping of comfort gaming food in the form of Vagante, a roguelike rpg/platformer! With inspiration drawn from games like Spelunky, Dark Souls, and Castlevania, Vagante is a game that rewards playing smart and taking your time. Unfortunately you won't have much time as there is a horde of monsters, traps, bosses trying to kill you. Even some of the items... Join me as I die several times and show off some of the features of this early alpha build title. In Vagante you have 2 unique classes with their own skill trees, randomized treasure, full controller support, and magic attacks as well. Allowing for a whole host of different play styles and tactics. With its clean crisp graphics and music you won't be able to tell that this is an early alpha build hardly at all. There is many ways to conquer the dungeons but many more ways to suffer a horrible quick death. Vagante is a game with so much potential and the best part? You can play it for free right now!
